When Jo was writing her MA thesis, she started a tumblr page called I Drew This Instead. It was basically a virtual doodle book – a series of stupid drawings created on a whim to facilitate procrastination away from the task in hand. We love this idea of documenting all the other things we do instead of things we should be doing…because sometimes (most of the time?) the other things are just as interesting anyway.
And sometimes, especially when we’re trying to hold down creative projects, we do “other things” so we can eat -reassuring ourselves at the time with the promise that this will inevitably make for a cracking anecdote somewhere down the line… we want to know about “the other things”.Tell us about yours and we’ll share them on TQC blog.
